Let Vitamin C help in the caring of your skin

When we were kinds, we were always told that it's important to eat fruits and vegetables, in order to grow up and be strong and healthy! What about when one is already grown up? Well vitamin C is arguably one of the most essential vitamins that the human body needs to keep its health, especially in terms of skin care.

Lets face everyone wants to look good. In order to keep the skin looking healthy and feeling healthy, vitamin C is a necessity. Vitamin C is known to help improve the look the of fine lines and wrinkles, improve firmness, decrease puffiness, dark circles, and help with elasticity around the eyes and face. The main way vitamin C accomplishes this is through stimulating collagen from within the skin. Many times different products trick consumers into thinking that the product they are buying will work wonders because it includes " collagen" as a key ingredient. The sad truth is that when collagen is applied onto the skin, it really cannot penetrate it to make a difference. The molecules of collagen are too thick for the skin to soak it up. Vitamin C on the other hand, in the form of ascorbyl palmitate or magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, actually penetrate the skin to make a difference. Within continue use, one will see that their skin will improve overall.

Most importantly, vitamin C is an antioxidant. Antioxidants and skin care should go hand in hand. Antioxidants basically exist to protect skin from any danger, especially in the form of sun, pollution, and any other harm that can affect the skin. Vitamin C in the form of an antioxidant can also be found in various skin care brands, as well as in foods (such as oranges, strawberries, apples, broccoli, potatoes, etc).

Vitamin C is truly an amazing vitamin. It only does not protect skin from harm, but it also improves it. It essentially gives age and dermatologists a run for its money.
